A Day Skating With Kirtley

After blistering the hell out of the back of my heel (never wear togs that are to small for you, just play in your trainers), there was little skating I could do this week!  Fortunately, I ended up going out just getting photography, which is probably what I should have been doing anyway.

On Monday, me and my mates (Jack Kirtley and Ollie Adams) went around Swansea city centre for a four hour skate and these were the images I managed to get in that duration!  Hope you like them.

Exist Skatepark Round 02

Cheers if you voted for 'Exist Skatepark' in the 'Route One' competition, top lads and ladettes!  Exist ended up winning the competition so that means they've won £1000 to go towards the development of the new area in the skatepark!  If you look on their website, you will see they are well happy.

Anyways, this is a photograph I took from a Thursday session down the skatepark.  This is Welsh Tommy with a FS Noseblunt on the mini ramp.

Exist Skatepark

Back in Swansea at the moment so skating a lot more than I would up in Birmingham!  I am also trying to get a lot more skateboarding photography done recently as that is what I have chosen to do for the next assignment in photography on my course.. so here's a few I got from the 'Exist Skatepark' the other day.

Also, if you could please click on this 'Exist Skatepark' link to the Facebook poll page and vote for 'Exist Skatepark', that would be hugely appreciated.  Basically, there was a 'Free Skate Day' on April 2nd around Britain in different skate parks; each park made a video edit (which can be found on the 'Route One Blog Spot' along with the other parks we are competing with) and whichever park gets the most votes wins £1000 to help further develop their park!  The 'Exist' edit is the best and all the other parks are loaded.. so vote for us!!
